Golf Courses

There are seven fine golf courses within 20 miles of the Inn and several private courses that usually accept reciprocal guest attendance providing you have membership at another Private Club and have the referral of the course professional at your home club.

Golf Courses near to The Inn At Perry Cabin along with their website links that will help you determine where you can enjoy playing.

Harbourtowne, St. Michaels, MD
Playing to a par 70, the Harbourtowne Golf Course has many of the features that have become Pete Dye trademarks. Narrow fairways with target landing areas, carefully placed mounds in the rough, deep bunkers, high grass bunkers, neat little ponds, walls of railroad ties, and small protected greens are just a few of the highlights of this extraordinary course.

This is the closest course, but they have a strict 3 day cancellation policy. Regardless of rain or shine, etc. No cancellation is accepted without the full charge applying (within 72 hrs).

  Pbal Golf

Easton Club, Easton, MD
This 18-Hole Championship Golf Course is a par 71, 6,501 yard layout that offers unique challenges for golfers of all abilities and is open to the public. The golf course was designed by Robert D. Rauch and Richard Mandell. The course features stately trees, dramatic waterscapes, bentgrass and a challenging island green. A variety of design features and strategic elements make The Easton Club an outstanding experience for all level of golfers. Located about 20 minutes drive from The Inn.

Uplands
The most highly rated course by our bartenders (avid golfers) and guests; however, it is about a 45 minute drive from the property. It is always very well maintained and a good challenge. Phone number is: 410-634-1200.

The Hyatt, Cambridge, MD
We have good feedback from our guests who play this course, however, it is a little more expensive than others in the area. It is also about 35 minutes from The Inn. Two very good restaurants are on the campus at the Hyatt.

Hog Neck, Easton, MD
Spread out over 255 gently rolling acres, the par 72 Championship Course and the par 32 Executive Course are challenging tests for any golfer. With tees from 2,000 yards to just over 7,100 yards, Hog Neck has the golf to suit your game. A challenging course for low, medium, or high handicap golfers, the 18 hole championship course places a premium on shotmaking with two nines of contrasting styles. The outward nine plays out of the woods on the first hole and immediately the golfers are faced with wide open wind-swept shots that have to navigate a plethora of bunkers and water hazards. Upon making the turn onto the inward nine, golfers find themselves faced with much longer approach shots through a seemingly never ending forest of loblolly pines to well bunkered greens. This is rated one of the best public courses in the country. It is about 20 minutes from The Inn and offers well cared for courses and good play.

Hunters Oak Golf Club, Wye Mills, MD
Step back in time as you step into the future…this Scottish links-style course complete with meandering berms, never-ending mounds, seemingly inescapable pot bunkers, and slick-surfaced greens, Hunters Oak measures at just over 7,000 yards when you play the back tees. Fairways are made of the finest bentgrass, meticulously maintained to our demanding standards.  Designed by British golf architect Ian Scott-Taylor, Washington Golf Monthly called it the “most unique golf course in Maryland.” Each hole is truly different and is named in the traditional fashion, such as “Big Ben”, “Wee Boggle” and “Old Tom”, and our spectacular par-5 finishing hole “Lion’s Den”. There are some golf courses where one or two holes stand out in your mind after play. At Hunters Oak, there are 18 truly distinctive holes that you’ll be talking about in the clubhouse and boasting about to friends and associates back home.

Atlantic Golf at Queenstown (River Course)
This course is on your way to the Inn, but before approaching Easton, MD. It is approximately 15 miles north of St. Michaels and gets favorable comments from guests and awards for its layout and general landscape.

Once you have selected the course(s) you would like to play, we will be happy to make the arrangements for you.
