The Inn at Perry Cabin is pleased to support the CHOPTANK RIVER EASTERN BAY CONSERVANCY (CREB), a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance. CREB Conservancy is a local, community supported non-profit organization that is doing important work to restore and protect the vitality of our home rivers. 

It sponsors, among its employees, a full-time paid RIVERKEEPER®, an expert in marine science, who tirelessly champions the health and vitality of our waterways. Through lobbying, restoration, education, pollution curtailment, and where necessary, litigation, it serves at every level as an advocate for the preservation of our waterways. The offices of CREB can be found behind the library in St. Michaels, and its website, full of beautiful aerial photographs of and information about our rivers, can be found at www.crebconservancy.org. Brochures about the organization are available in our lobby and our restaurant, Sherwood's Landing. CREB is one of sixteen RIVERKEEPER organizations on the Chesapeake Bay, each focusing on its own unique watershed. Working independently and often in tandem these organizations are becoming a powerful force for positive change on the Bay.
